The group standings are based on FIFA rules: Win = 3 points, Loss = 0 points, Draw = 1 point each. When two or more teams finish the group stage with the same number of points, the following order is used to break the tie:
Superior goal difference resulting from the group matches between the specific teams concerned.
Higher number of goals scored in the group matches between the specific teams concerned.
Total Goals For (GF) minus total Goals Against (GA) across all three group matches.
Total number of goals scored in all three group matches.
The best 8 of 12 third-place finishers advance to the Round of 32. Ranked by: Points, Goal Difference, Goals For, FIFA Ranking.
The winner of the tournament pool is the person with the most points from their predictions, accumulated over the entire tournament.
